About CEU Compass
A free, neutral guide that answers one question for US physical therapists and PTAs: what continuing education do I need in my state, and where can I get it cheap or free?
Who runs it
CEU Compass is run by Andrew, a licensed physical therapist. It is independent: not affiliated with, endorsed by, or paid by FSBPT, APTA, any state board, or any CE vendor.
How we source data
- State hours, renewal terms and approval models start from the FSBPT Jurisdiction Licensure Reference Guide.
- For most states we checked the details directly on the state board or state rule/statute website. Each row in a state's requirements table shows a numbered source link for that specific field, pointing to the official page it came from (or to FSBPT where we relied on its tables).
- We never fill in a requirement we could not verify. Those fields say “Check with your board”.
- Prices are listed only when seen on the vendor’s own site, with the date checked.
